HEATING

Step 1. Ensure the microwave tray is clean and completely dry.

Step 2. Fold large packs in half or small flat and in the center of the microwave, making sure no part of the pack touches the sides and that the tray can spin freely.

Step 3. Heat large packs in 30-second intervals or small packs 15 second intervals, shaking the pack halfway through to help distribute heat evenly. When placing it back, fold large or lay small flat it in the opposite direction/side.

Step 4. Use caution when removing the pack from the microwave, as it may be hot.

Step 5. Allow the pack to cool to room temperature before reheating or storing it away. This helps prevent damage and extends its lifespan.

Maximum HEATING time

MICROWAVE POWER (WATTS)

1 - 700 Watts - 1 to 1.5 Minutes

701 - 1200 Watts - 1 Minutes

USING COLD

Step 1. Place the pack in a zip-lock freezer bag to protect it from moisture.

Step 2. Store it in the freezer for at least 1.5 to 4 hours to achieve optimal cooling.

Step 3. The pack can be safely left in the freezer for extended periods without risk.

Step 4. If you wish to use the pack for heating, allow it to return to room temperature before heating.

CARE INTRUCTIONS

DO NOT wash or wet pack. Use a slightly damp cloth and wipe over leaving outside directly out of sun to dry.

SAFETY WARNINGS

DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED IN MICROWAVE - in case of fire.

DO NOT OVERHEAT - always follow instructions. It is designed for use in a conventional microwave only - do not heat in a gas or electric oven.

DO NOT USE UNDER BEDDING - Avoid using the pack in confined spaces that trap heat, such as under blankets or bedding.

DO NOT PLACE A GLASS OF WATER IN THE MICROWAVE WHEN HEATING - Lupin seeds produce their own moisture, so adding water to the microwave can have the opposite effect of what you want.

ALWAYS INSPECT THE PACK FOR DAMAGE BEFORE USE - Do not use if damaged.

PLEASE NOTE - The TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) advises replacing heat packs every 12 months to ensure safety and effectiveness.

It is NOT RECOMMENDED to add oils or fragrances to the pack - these may increase the risk of fire.

IMPORTANT - to keep instructions with your pack, read before every use.

USE WITH CAUTION - heat packs can burn skin when used incorrectly and particularly the more delicate skin on children or older people. SUPERVISE children at all times.
